To approve the draft brief so that work can commence on preparing the evidence for the refresh of the Uttlesford Housing Strategy and amendments to the Allocations Policy.

Approval of the draft Consultant’s Brief for Housing Strategy and Allocations Policy Evidence. Also an instruction to officers to finalise the documentation and commission the work.
Reasons for the decision:
Housing Board and Scrutiny Committee have endorsed a draft brief for Consultant’s work. Approval is being dealt with as urgent so that work will fit in with the timetable for Garden Communities plan making.
Alternative options considered:
Waiting 9 weeks for the next Cabinet Meeting but rejected because of delay to start of work.
