02/09/2021 - New Communities Collaboration Partnership ref: 533    Recommendations Approved

As part of work to prepare the local plan, officers are carrying out technical assessments of 299 sites that have been proposed for development. A number of these sites, or clusters of these sites, involve larger scale development that would be delivered over 30 or more years. A partnership approach between the Council and those delivering the development is recommended to ensure that the Council’s objectives on matters such as net zero carbon, community involvement and long term stewardship are fully met over this longer time span.

iii. Council is requested to endorse the allocation and to authorise the necessary borrowing.

This report accompanies the Museum Management Agreement which has been revised to incorporate the Museum's off-site store at the Shirehill Depot and other minor updates. Approval for the revised Agreement is requested and is necessary before the Museum's next Arts Council England Accreditation review, due in 2022, and further applications for National Lottery funding.
