Governance Review: Proposal to establish a Council Working Group
The Leader has requested the establishment of
a Council Working Group to carry out a governance review. This will
look at the framework under which the Council makes decisions. The
Council currently operates under a "Leader and Cabinet" model. The
review will consider whether changes are needed to the governance
model. This will include consideration of whether to return to the
Committee model. The Working Group will make recommendations to
Council.
