RESOLVED to approve amendments to the Council’s Housing Allocations Policy and Homelessness Strategy to take effect from 3 April 2018, to reflect changes in legislation, and to change the wording within the Allocations Policy in respect of the eligibility of members of the Armed Forces, to remove the wording “honourable discharge” (which is no longer in use), and to replace it with the wording “applicants who are serving members of the Regular Forces or who have served in the Regular Forces”.
