Purpose:
Consideration of a request to grant a right of
way over a council owed access road to serve a proposed new
property at the rear of Millfields, Walden Road in Little
Chesterford.
Decision:
RESOLVED that
1 right of way be granted for the for the benefit of a new property in the rear garden of Millfields, Walden Road, Little Chesterford for which planning permission has been obtained by the owners, over the private access road which runs adjacent to the property, subject to the payment of a premium, the requirement to contribute towards future maintenance and limitation to the new property.
2 The Assistant Director – Housing has delegated authority to negotiate the appropriate consideration having taken advice from an independent valuer, and relevant legal terms and conditions.
